NEW FOUNDATIONS FOR SMEs 2025
The regulatory framework and call for applications for financial aid for the improvement, modernization and employability of businesses in the municipality during the year 2025 have been approved, with a total allocation of 100,000 euros .
These grants aim to boost local business development, promote the modernization of establishments and encourage the creation of stable employment, supporting SMEs with up to 10 employees and self-employed individuals with premises open to the public in Tres Cantos and belonging to the retail, hospitality and certain personal services sectors.
The call for proposals is structured around three lines of support :
· Line 1: Technological innovation , which subsidizes 40% of investments (10% more than the previous year) in inventory technological equipment, such as computers, tablets, software or cash registers.
· Line 2: Renovation and equipment of the premises , intended to finance 40% (10% more than the previous year) of the investments in renovations or acquisition of furniture and machinery necessary for the activity.
· Line 3: Promotion of employment , which grants 500 euros for each new permanent contract or conversion to permanent , up to a maximum of two contracts per company.
The maximum grant amount per beneficiary will be €2,000 for investment projects and €1,000 for employment projects . The grants will be applied to expenses already incurred and paid between October 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025 .
The application period will remain open until January 30, 2026 , and must be done exclusively electronically through the Electronic Office of the Tres Cantos City Council .
